We have this tendency to operate under the fundamental assumption that God is on our side. That no matter what we do in life, God’s got our back! This feels really good to us, and gives us a lot of confidence about the decisions we make, both good and bad, about our lives.
But is that really the case?
Is God really on our side? And if not, whose side is God really on?
In this podcast, I sit down with author Joshua Opperman to talk about his intriguing book, “God Is Not On Your Side,” in which Josh challenges this common line of thinking. Please be sure to listen to this discussion, in which Josh tells about the journey he’s been on, and what caused him to revisit the idea that God is on our side.
